Terms & Conditions of Workshops
1. Registration and Payment
After registration, participants will receive an email with the activity details and payment information.
Registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
2. Cancellation and Refunds
IMPORTANT - Cancellation/postponement/refund of registrations (including gift voucher registrations) is only allowed if you give us at least 7 days' notice before the start of the workshop. If you cancel less than 7 days before the start of the workshop, we will do our best to fill your place, however, you can only postpone the workshop (or put the amount in a gift voucher) if your place is filled.
If a trainee fails to attend one or more training sessions, Cross Lights is not responsible for replacing or compensating for that session.

Cross Lights has the right to cancel or postpone any workshop that does not meet the minimum number of participants indicated and is responsible for rescheduling or refunding the registration fees paid (Cross Lights is not responsible for refunding PayPal fees).
3. Participation Requirements
Minimum age for participation: 18 years / Accompanied by an adult (two entries): 10 years
No previous experience is required.
4. Materials and Intellectual Property
All necessary materials are included in the workshop fee.
Each participant will take home a textile sample produced during the session.
The content of the workshop (techniques, educational materials, and methodology) may not be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the organization.
5. Responsibility and Safety
The organization is not responsible for any personal belongings lost or damaged during the activity.
Participants are responsible for following safety instructions and proper material handling.
The organization reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who disrupts the environment of the workshop.
6. Image Use and Photography
Photos or videos may be taken during the workshop for promotional purposes. If a participant does not wish to appear, they must inform the organization in advance.
7. Changes and Force Majeure
The organization reserves the right to change the date or location of the workshop due to force majeure, with prior notice given to participants as early as possible
Terms & Conditions of Sale
1.These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through our website and direct order channels (email, fairs, custom orders, etc.). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms below.
2. Products
All items are handcrafted in Portugal in small quantities or made to order. Slight variations in color, texture or size may occur and are part of the unique character of handmade and woven items.
3. Prices
Prices are listed in Euros (€) and include Portuguese VAT where applicable.
Shipping costs are calculated separately and communicated before final confirmation.
For international shipments, customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes applicable in their country.
4. Orders & Payments
Orders can be placed via our website, email or in person at fairs and pop-ups.
We accept payment by bank transfer, MB Way or other methods as specified.
Orders are confirmed only after full payment is received.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery times vary depending on the product. Made-to-order items generally take 4 to 6 weeks to produce.
Shipping is handled by registered carriers with tracking .
Cross Lights is not responsible for delays caused by customs or external factors.
6. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)
Under EU law, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase made online within 14 days of receiving your order, except for customised or made-to-order items, which are non-refundable unless faulty.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please email us at lisboncrosslights@gmail.com with your order number and reason. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
7. Returns of Faulty Goods
If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 5 days of receipt with photos and a description. We will offer a replacement, repair, or refund according to the situation.
8. Custom Orders
Custom and made-to-order pieces (including handwoven textiles and sneakers made in specific sizes or colors) are final sale and non-refundable, unless there is a manufacturing defect.
9. Intellectual Property
All designs, texts, photos, and products are the property of Cross Lights and may not be used or reproduced without prior written consent.
10. Privacy
Your data is handled in accordance with GDPR regulations. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.
11. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and European Union legislation. Any disputes shall be resolved under Portuguese jurisdiction, in the courts of Lisbon.
