Description:
In this creative and experimental weaving workshop, each participant will explore the simplest techniques of manual weaving to create their own unique piece. You will learn how looms work and how to handle basic hand-weaving techniques, while also getting in touch with natural raw materials.

No previous experience is required.

This activity can be adapted for events organised by municipalities, associations, institutions or companies.

It promotes sustainability and recycling, nurtures an appreciation for the art of weaving, and encourages community engagement.

Workshop Content:

  • Introduction to loom mechanics and basic weaving techniques, with simple manual structures

  • Exploration of a variety of natural raw materials – both animal and plant-based – with different textures, colours and thicknesses

  • Development of a personal project

  • Creative finishing techniques for project completion
